Beacon is a free, DYCD-funded program that serves grades K-5 hosted in our school but space is limited and slots are filled via lottery. Their program will begin on Monday, 9/18. Programming goes until 5:45 p.m. on Monday-Friday, and they require that students attend at least 4 out of 5 days per week and stay for the duration of the program daily.
Beacon is released their application TODAY, 7/27 and the deadline to apply for this year will be next Friday, 8/4. A new application is needed every year for all interested families.

Completed applications can be e-mailed to mmejia@isaacscenter.org, yperez@goddard.org or brought in person to the Beacon office, located inside the 3rd Ave entrance of our building, during school hours (M-F, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.) Please note this is a different process than last year’s online application.
Beacon staff will send out results of the lottery to confirm whether or not families have a spot in mid-August.
Families may continue to submit applications after 8/4 to be added to a waitlist that will still be lottery-based. If there is availability remaining, Beacon will reach out to families on the waitlist within the first few days of school to communicate if they can offer a seat.
