The Readathon officially started with an all-school assembly and will run through Friday, October 31.

WHAT IS READATHON?

  • A week where we read as much as we can to help us become better readers!

  • A challenge to see which grade can work together to read the most!

  • A fundraiser to help our school!

The basic idea is that students read as much as they can, and parents fundraise! The Readathon is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year so please click HERE and share the link with all your family and friends! Our goal is $20,000! All children get to participate in the fun and reading regardless of whether or not they get donations.

In our kick-off, we announced that our mascot, Izzie the Bulldog, is time traveling and challenging all of our Bulldogs to read across the decades!

Check out PS 198’s Instagram (@ps198m) for more updates from today and check the page each day next week for fun announcements and special throwbacks from each decade!
